Story of YallaIG
In the bustling streets of Cairo and the vibrant halls of Qatar's educational institutions, the paths of Amr, Ahmed, and Abdelrahman were destined to intersect, although in unforeseen ways. While Ahmed and Abdelrahman forged a bond during their IGCSE years in Egypt, Amr pursued his studies in Qatar, unaware of the friendships blooming elsewhere.
As fate would have it, Abdelrahman ventured into the entrepreneurial realm, founding his own startup focused on online IGCSE classes post-graduation. Meanwhile, Ahmed, captivated by Abdelrahman's innovative venture, sought to join forces, yet circumstances conspired otherwise.
Undeterred, Ahmed embarked on a new journey, immersing himself in university life in Southampton, UK. Little did he know, fate had more surprises in store. During his fourth year, Amr, too, found himself in Southampton, pursuing his own academic endeavors at the University of Southampton. by chance, the two crossed paths, sharing not only a university but also a residence.
In a twist of fate, a casual conversation between Amr and Ahmed ignited a spark of inspiration. Ahmed recounted Abdelrahman's entrepreneurial venture, now dormant, planting the seed for a potential collaboration. Eager to reunite old friends and explore new horizons. Ahmed had a special gift for Abdelrahman. However, circumstances led Ahmed to entrust the gift to Amr, with the intention that it would eventually find its way to Abdelrahman.
Upon their first meeting in Dubai, Amr suggested meeting at the bustling Mall of Emirates. As they caught up over coffee, laughter, and shared memories, Ahmed's long-awaited gift meant for Abdelrahman became a topic of conversation. Amidst the chatter, they found themselves exploring the possibility of a joint venture, fueled by their shared passion for education and entrepreneurial spirit.
As they shared stories of past endeavors and dreams for the future, the vision of an educational platform began to take shape in the summer of 2023. It was during an unforeseen summer rendezvous in Cairo that the trio, united by friendship and fueled by shared ambition, embarked on a journey to redefine education for a new generation.
